I have read a lot of reviews saying they thought the table came with the tables. It’s their fault for not reading the description. Don’t make the same mistake, please. My suggestion is that you order chairs right after you order this dining table. This way, you can get them at around the same time.
The box contains everything you need including the tools. I used the tools that came with the table, but I recommend that you use your own. All parts came in good condition. They were well-protected during shipping.
Durability
I got this dining table 5 months ago and it still looks brand new. The top doesn’t scratch easily. You just need a damp cloth to keep it clean. It’s best if you use coasters. Nevertheless, I don’t see any problem if you don’t. Water just beads on top and won’t cause visible damage.
The metal legs ensure the stability of the table. I don’t see any wobbling. I can stand on the table without worrying about breaking the table. I know the legs would be able to support my weight.
The table is heavy, which tells something about its overall quality. It is evident that excellent craftsmanship went into the making of the table. For the price I got it for, I expected to get a table far less sturdy. I would say that I was pleasantly surprised with the quality. At under $250, this table is a steal.
The feet have rubber caps on them that prevent scratches on the floor. In case you plan to move the dining table, ask someone to help you carry it instead of dragging it across the floor.

This Merax table is made for dining. Don’t get this if you’re looking for a table for your office. You can’t write on top of it since it doesn’t have a smooth surface. If you were to use it as a dining table, that won’t be an issue.
The space fits 6 adults comfortably. With the space, you won’t bump elbows with each other. I got a set of 6 chairs from Amazon and they look great together. This dining table looks so simple that it wasn’t difficult for me to search for matching chairs. It would go well with different interiors too.
