First Impression
First of all, the directions were a bit confusing. If not for my handy husband who came to the rescue, I wouldn’t have been able to put this together. He did ask for my help to hold the parts in place. I recommend having an extra hand because some parts are tricky to hold in place.
The coffee table looks even prettier than it looked in the pictures. I hit the jackpot getting this inexpensive and stunning table. The table had a lot of mixed reviews that made me hesitant about ordering it. It’s a good thing my instincts were right.
The coffee table is a good size. I have it in our tiny living room. It is compact, so it would fit even in apartments. While you can fit 4 chairs, I only got 2 to go with it. It didn’t come with chairs so I got matching chairs separately.
Style
The white top looks pristine. Take note that the top is off-white, but that doesn’t make the table less beautiful. It goes amazingly with the wooden base. The criss-cross legs, which remind me of the Eiffel Tower, serve as the perfect base. The only bad thing about the base is the lack of legroom. The base prevents you from extending your legs. That’s not a big deal, though. I still love the base. The screws that hold the base together are embedded so they’re out of sight. The bottom would have looked less attractive if the screws were showing.
So far, the top doesn’t have a single scratch on it yet. It’s either I’m doing a good job taking care of the table or the top simply doesn’t scratch easily. I use coasters on the table and make sure to wipe the table dry in case of spills. Food stains come off easily.
The chairs I got are really simple because I wanted the table to take centerstage. Do take note that the chairs won’t slide under the table because of the bars underneath.
Versatility
You can have this coffee table in your living room, office, garden, or yard. This is not intended for outdoor use. If you’re having it outside, make sure that you have it under a roof. Have it in a spot that sunlight or rain won’t reach.
This elegant table makes my living room look cozy. It has become a spot where I and my husband can read and have coffee.
The top is more spacious than I expected. Succulents or a potted plant would look great on the table.
The legs have a rubber pad underneath to prevent scratches on the floor. You can easily move the table by either pushing or carrying it.
In My Opinion
I’m completely satisfied with this coffee table. Guests would always give compliments upon seeing it. I recommend this to anyone looking for an attractive yet inexpensive coffee table. I had a pretty tight budget but I’m happy that didn’t prevent me from getting a high-quality table like this one.
