Shipping was prompt. The pieces of the wicker set were securely packed in 2 boxes. It came with no surprise that the pieces came in good condition. Nothing was missing. It even comes with the tools you need but I suggest you use your own. My husband assembled the entire set in about 2 hours. You do have to assemble everything. Thankfully, the instructions were easy to understand. Every piece fit in the right places. It takes a lot of effort to put together a 6-piece set but it is very much worth the effort. Seeing the completed set for the first time made me feel great about my choice.
Things I Like
Prior to starting my search for outdoor furniture, I knew I wanted one with a sectional sofa. It provides more seating space than a loveseat or individual seats. I got even happier when I saw that the sofa looks wider than expected. Only me and my husband live in our home but we are looking to use the outdoor sofa mainly for entertaining. Don’t get me wrong. We also sit out on cool evenings.
The colors are true to the pictures. That goes for the wicker, pillows, and cushions. The wicker deserves a special mention in my review. The weave makes it look classy. I appreciate how the weave adds dimension to the set. Also, the wicker stays intact and does not crack and peel. The grey would go well with any color.
This 6-piece set has back and seat cushions that are plush and soft. The cushion covers can be zipped off for easy washing. The seats have a low profile, which I think makes them more comfortable to sit on.
The outdoor sofa set comes with 2 complimentary pillows. The stripes add an interesting look to the entire set. Although the pillows aren’t that plush, I don’t really mind them. The cushions are already plush as they are. I don’t need pillows to make sitting more comfortable. I think they are meant for decorative purposes rather than comfort.
You can use the ottoman as a footrest or extra seat. The sofa is wide and can easily fit 3 adults and 5 at most.
This outdoor furniture set gives me versatility. I can arrange it in multiple ways. I usually re-arrange the set when I have guests over. The best part is that it already comes with a waterproof cover. You don’t need to buy a cover separately.
The cushions’ fabric doesn’t feel rough against the skin. It does have a texture to it but nothing unpleasant. The fabric feels strong and isn’t likely to tear anytime soon.
In My Opinion
Similar sets would easily have cost me a grand more in stores. I feel great knowing I saved a lot of money by sticking with this beautiful set. It screams sophistication.
This is, to date, my best purchase for our home. Even my husband was surprised to see how beautiful it turned out to be. It has transformed our backyard and I’m sure it will do the same for your space!
