Looking for a beautiful yet cheap wicker furniture set is difficult. I say that based on experience. I tried my luck in the mall but I only ended up disappointed. Assembly
If you’re getting this set, make sure that you read this part closely. Put the screws in place but don’t tighten them yet. Screw them all the way in once all are in place. This will make it easier to line up all of the pieces. If you have a small drill, I suggest you use it. I don’t have one, so it took me longer to put the whole thing together. The assembly gets easier after setting up the first chair. The setup wasn’t as easy as I expected but seeing the set made the sweat worth it.
Quality
This 3-piece set has a steel frame which makes me more confident about its stability. The PE rattan is like plastic, just far stronger and more stylish. Like plastic, it is waterproof. This material withstands various weather elements. I would advise against leaving the set out during winter. The snow may put too much weight on the wicker and cause it to break.
You have to note that although the cushions are waterproof, water would soak in if they were left out in the rain. You should get them in before it starts to rain.
Style
This PE rattan set looks far more expensive than it really is. I love the color of the wicker. It looks very elegant. I don’t have to clean it that often. I hose it clean about once a month. You can opt to clean it even less often if you only put the set to little use. It is almost maintenance-free, making it very convenient.
Our garden is a bit small, so the size of the entire set came in perfect. If you don’t have that much space and you like to have a spot where you can lounge, this outdoor set is a great choice. I consider getting the chat set as a smart move. It gets a lot of use and is useful for entertaining.
