I was a spring mattress user, and I don’t think I could ever go back. This memory foam mattress is a real game changer. It’s not as ridiculously expensive as those offered by high-end brands. However, it still offers a level of comfort that gets me to sleep almost instantly. I also wake up more refreshed and with a better mood. I also noticed that I have been getting body pains less often now. I almost hate myself for taking so long to switch to memory foam. First Impression
The bed came in a box. It was compressed in a plastic bag. I especially love the fact that it came in a compact packaging. You won’t be able to guess that a mattress is inside just by the look of it.
I knew I would have a hard time to move the bed once it’s in its actual size. That’s why I cut the plastic open in my room. I put it right on top of the bed frame. It felt like it took forever for the bed to fully expand. In reality, it just took less than 24 hours. I think I was too excited to sleep on it that the wait felt longer. I also had to sleep in the living room while waiting for the mattress to rise to its full 12 inches. The directions specifically mention not to lay down on it while it is expanding.
Comfort
It’s amazing how I can sleep through the night without waking up at dawn. I also mentioned that I can feel less pain on the different parts of my body. That’s all thanks to the body support that the mattress provides. It is firm with just the right amount of plushness. The top sinks under your weight, but the deeper layers keep you from sinking further. This kind of support is suitable for those who get back and shoulder pains. It would be nice if you get a good-quality pillow along with the bed.
Quality
The mattress has a thick cover that zips off. I have removed and washed it a few times already. The cover is made of a good quality material, so I don’t think it would tear easily.
This memory foam mattress does a good job at keeping its shape. I don’t see any part of the bed sagging. I recommend rotating the bed occasionally.
Last Thoughts
With a price of under $300, it is a far cry from mattresses that cost a grand. I would never spend a grand for a bed! If you’re just as prudent as I am, you would perfectly understand. I have to point out that this is such a wonderful investment.
