The instructions were easy to follow and the parts clearly labelled. All of the required tools came with the chair. It only took me about 15 minutes to set it up. I used the chair right after assembling it and I couldn’t be more pleased. I knew I could have spent more for a computer chair, so I’m glad I came across this one. I needed a chair for my home office. I opted for one without armrests because they would prevent me from sitting too close to the table. Sans the armrests, the chair could easily slide into the table. It is also easier to put away when not in use. All I wanted was a simple computer chair that does the job.
The computer chair looks exactly as pictured. It has a clean, basic look so it would fit rather well in any setting.
Comfort
I can work comfortably with this chair. I do make sure to sneak in a few minutes of stretching every 2 or 3 hours. The chair’s height is adjustable. You can raise or lower it as you like. I understand people have different preferences and office desks have varying heights too. That’s why I think adjustability is a must in every computer chair.
I like the mesh back. It is very breathable so you would sweat less on hot days. A fully cushioned back isn’t ideal if you sweat a lot.
The office chair has a low back. That is actually a good thing as it’s able to support your lower back. The shape fits really well with the contour of my back. The seat’s back helps me keep a good posture while sitting down. It is also great at keeping my back straight as I work. If you tend to slouch a lot, this chair could possibly fix that.
On the other hand, the seat has a decently thick padding. It’s not as plush as I would have liked, but it is comfortable to sit on. The seat was quite firm at first but once I got to break it in for a while, it got softer. It is only natural that you feel some discomfort if you’ve been sitting down for hours at a time. You gotta get moving!
Quality
The chair doesn’t take up considerable space. I’d recommend this for small offices with limited floor space.
The casters roll smoothly on the floor. Take note that I have a tiled floor. I believe the casters would work well on hardwood floors too.
The mesh back is still in good condition. There is no rips. The seat does flatten out a bit with usage. If you ask me, that is nothing to worry about. The seat is still very much comfortable.
Price
Another major factor that led me to get this chair is the price. You can’t put this side to side with expensive ergonomic chairs. However, it is as reliable as a chair can be. If I had more money to spare, I would consider getting a much better chair. I was on a tight budget and this turned out to be among the best options available.
