First Impression

This 4-piece outdoor furniture set came in 3 large boxes. The assembly is pretty straightforward. As long as you stick to the instructions and don’t rush things, you won’t have a hard time. It’s better if you lay the pieces on the floor first. You should be well aware that the company doesn’t provide spare screws, so be careful not to lose any. An Allen wrench is the only tool you’ll need to put the set together, and you’ll find one in the box.

The set turned out to be better than expected. The chairs are quite wide. I love that the back is inclined too. We have a small garden and this fit without any problem. The compact design of the set certainly worked in my favor.

Design

The wicker is woven beautifully. You won’t see any fraying strands of wicker. The black, being a neutral color, goes well with any wall and other furniture. It hides dust and dirt very well too. I do hose the dust off once a week. If you cover your set, you may have to clean it less often.

My favorite part of the set is the table’s black glass top. It looks very sleek against the black wicker. You can even see your own reflection on the glass. I make sure to wipe it clean regularly. This is also one of the very few outdoor sets that have a table with a storage area underneath. That’s a big plus for me. The table is very stable as well.

The chairs and table have a good weight to them. Strong winds can’t push them out of place.

Seating

This wicker set seats 4 people comfortably. The cushions are on the thin side, but I still find them soft enough. You can easily replace them if you want. As for me, I don’t mind them. I just added a few throw pillows for a softer feel. The chairs are the right height for lounging. My teenage daughter especially likes the loveseat. She would usually curl up there as she reads a book.

We like staying in the garden on cool afternoons and evenings. The wicker does get hot if the pieces stay under the sun, but that’s normal. That’s why we choose to sit later in the day when the sunlight can no longer reach the garden and our set.

In My Opinion

For anyone out there with a small space in their garden, patio or deck, this is a fantastic deal. This has handled the hot weather and rainy days in the city with no issues. For under $400, the quality is better than anticipated. It is sure to revamp your outdoor space!
