Assembly
The box comes with tools but I suggest you use your own. The supplied tools are cheaply made and will give you a hard time. If you don’t have your own tools then you don’t really have a choice.
This is a 5-piece set, so I already expected the assembly to be a bit difficult. You have to put everything together. I think it’s worth the sweat, though. The finished product looks better than in the pictures. I have this Suncrown wicker set in our yard and it has transformed our space. This is suitable for use in your patio, deck, and garden.
Comfort
The back support is fantastic. I often have back pains so I appreciate the temporary comfort that the seat provides. I don’t like sitting for too long, so I can’t say if the chairs are made for long hours of sitting. The height of the armrests is just perfect.
The table has a closed bottom. While the armrest is low enough to fit under the table, you couldn’t push the chairs all the way in because of the closed bottom. Likewise, legroom is something you won’t enjoy in the set.
I love that the set comes with cushions. They do flatten out with use. Ours haven’t gotten too flat that I need to replace them already, but I am prepared to replace them in the future. Replacing them is cheap anyway. It shouldn’t cause a problem.
Style
The dark glass top looks attractive. The tempered glass is thick and heavy and says a lot about its quality. At the set’s price point, I didn’t expect that level of quality. I was pleasantly surprised if you ask me.
The beige cushions look pretty with the wicker. I make sure to wash the cushions when needed. I hose off dust from the wicker about twice every month. It takes very minimal effort to maintain the set. If you’re a busy mom who juggles house chores and work then you will like this set.
It’s great that Suncrown sells the wicker chairs separately. If you want additional chairs, you can get two more for less than $150.
Quality
For the price point, the set is well-made. It is very durable. I don’t see any wicker coming off and the steel frame has kept its shape. I do suggest keeping the set under a shade. This would prevent your outdoor chat set from getting worn out in a short period of time. I don’t have mine fully covered but there is a tree next to it. When the sun is high up in the sky, the tree provides a little bit of shade. There is also a cut-out on the table that allows you to fit an umbrella base.
With all things considered, I highly recommend this outdoor wicker set. Try finding a similar set in stores, and you’ll be shocked by the prices. I heard Suncrown offers excellent customer service as well. I couldn’t ask for anything better.
