This full-length mirror comes packed with styrofoam all around to keep it protected during shipping. The box also has special handling instructions on the outside to ensure that the delivery guys deliver the package in one piece. The box is unexpectedly heavy. It’s best if you ask the delivery guys take it to where you plan to have it.
You can use the body-sized mirror right out of the box. The stand already comes attached to the mirror. All you have to do is to extend the stand and set it on the floor. If you plan to mount the mirror to the wall, you would have to unscrew the stand first. Afterwards, drill 2 holes on the wall and insert the anchors. The box contains mounting brackets that you can use to securely hang the mirror on the wall. It should only take 30 minutes or less to prep the mirror for mounting. The brackets are heavy-duty ones. If they do not live up to your expectations, you can always purchase replacements from the hardware store. You can also buy more to keep the mirror more secure. It is, after all, a heavy mirror.
The mirror hangs flush against the wall. If installed correctly, the brackets should keep the mirror as close to the wall as possible. This will also keep it from moving.
Style
The alloy frame comes in 4 colors but my personal favorite is the gold. The gold frame is thin and gives the mirror an elegant appearance. The gold goes with just about anything and gives the room a luxurious look. It is a fantastic choice for modern spaces. Designing a contemporary space typically requires looking for pieces with clean lines. The mirror would make a great addition.
This is a thin full-sized mirror. Even with the stand, it won’t take up too much space in the room. It doesn’t get in the way. However, if you’re lacking in space then mounting it to the wall would make a better option. That would save you plenty of space. If you have children in the house, I would suggest hanging it on the wall rather than having it on the stand.
The alloy frame is very thin, giving the illusion that the mirror is frameless. This makes the mirror look more expensive than it really is. The frame also protects the mirror’s edges. The frame doesn’t have sharp edges that can hurt you in case you happen to hit it.
The mirror is approximately 5’4″ tall. This is a good height for full-length mirrors. It is a tall enough mirror to see yourself from head to toe even if you’re 6-foot tall.
Quality
You’ll instantly know if a mirror is poorly made. The reflection would seem warped. Some mirrors would make your body look thinner or larger while others make you appear taller or smaller. A high-quality mirror like this one doesn’t do that. It doesn’t distort the reflection.
This body mirror comes with multiple layers. This ensures that the mirror doesn’t break easily and that it last a longer time. It is advertised as shatter-proof. While I can’t attest to that, that simply means that in case the mirror breaks due to external force, shards of glass won’t spill out.
The aluminum alloy frame is sturdy and seems to resist rust pretty well. Same goes for the stand. The floor stand is retractable, which is useful if you need to move the mirror. When extended, the stand stays put. It supports the weight of the large mirror without any issue.
You clean this mirror as you would any other mirror. Using a mirror cleaner with a microfiber cloth is the best way to do that. You can wipe off dust from the surface with circular motions.
