Assembly
This office table took me only 30 minutes to put together. The only tool that you would need to assemble it is an allen wrench, which can be found in the box. This thing is so easy to set up. You just have to screw the legs onto the top. The part where the drawer goes in is already attached to the top.
Function
My daughter’s bedroom doesn’t have a lot of space left for a table, so the size came great. The table provides ample of room for all her school stuff and laptop. I don’t think it’s the best desk for a computer. It doesn’t come with a stand for a tower. However, if you’re using a laptop, a flat surface is all you need. This is great for my daughter’s needs. It gives her space to write, use her laptop, and keep her books and collection of pens close to her. I think it’s important for me to point out that the surface is not completely smooth. It has a bit of texture to it which can be evident when you’re writing on paper. My daughter told me that she doesn’t mind that at all. The texture helps prevent scratches on the tabletop. The surface is water-resistant. Water would just bead on the surface, so spills don’t pose a problem. Coasters are recommended but not required.
She’s told me that the drawer is useful for keeping her workspace organized. The drawer is pretty wide although it’s not as deep as we would have liked. The drawer pulls out smoothly. You can draw it all the way out, which is nice. It is easy to maximize the space inside the drawer. My daughter can easily get what she needs too. The inside, though, doesn’t look like it was finished. The paint is uneven and rather done poorly. That is not a big deal at all as you don’t get to see the inside that much.
Each leg has a rubber pad under it. The pad protects the floor from scratches. I don’t suggest pushing the table across the floor, though. It’s much better to lift it up. It’s a bit lightweight anyway.
You can also use the table as a vanity. The surface is roomy enough for your makeup palettes and a big mirror. You can even light it up with vanity lights.
The height is optimal. A regular chair would work well with the table. You don’t need to get an adjustable chair anymore.
Design
The wood legs look elegant with the white top. Overall, the table looks clean and modern. It would surely make a great addition to your space. It can be used at home or the office.
I am very impressed with the quality. It is stable and has none of the wobble I was expecting. Its quality is not at par with high-end tables but I know this would last my daughter years. I may consider getting the same table as a replacement in case her current one has worn down. It all depends on her, of course.
