First Impression
I love that the outdoor set requires minimal assembly. The chairs arrived folded flat and fully assembled. All I had to set up is the table and the umbrella. The umbrella already comes with a base, so there is no need to buy one separately. I put the 6-piece set together on a hot day and was put to use immediately. The umbrella is wide enough to provide shade to everyone seated around the table. The set does feel a bit small at first, but if you don’t have much space in your patio or garden then this is the way to go. This dainty set is the perfect size for my garden.

The table has a glass top, which works really well for outdoor sets. The smooth surface makes it easy to clean. Glass looks more elegant too.
The patio umbrella opens and closes smoothly. You don’t have to be very tall to put it up or down. I am petite myself and I haven’t had any issues. My only concern is that I can see minor discolorations on the umbrella. There are areas where the color is fading. I understand that exposure to the sun has caused that. Prior to getting this set, I knew I would eventually have to replace the umbrella. For the price, that was a risk I was willing to take.
The set fits four comfortably. The chairs have a high back so you can lean back and relax. The back also has a nice tilt to it. The armrests are the right height. While the chairs don’t come with cushions or pillows, I find them very comfortable. There is no need for those. Even my grandma who has a bad back likes to sit on the chair.
I am happy with the portability of the chairs. I can fold them flat for easy storage. Since they fold flat, I can keep them inside the house without taking up much room. As the chairs are easy to carry, you can move them wherever you need seats at. Keep in mind that the table doesn’t fold flat, though.
The table is sturdy. It is made of metal and is actually quite heavy. The glass top adds to the weight too. I don’t mind having a heavy table because I think that says a lot about its quality. The table has none of the wobble that I expected. It would obviously wobble if it is on unlevel floor.
Final Thoughts
I believe that any furniture’s longevity depends on how you use it. In this set’s case, when it looks like it is going to rain, I like to keep the chairs inside. They are metal chairs so rusting is not of the question. Before the wind gets too strong, I make it a point to fold down the umbrella. By doing those little things, I get to keep this beautiful patio set for a longer time. I also get more value for my money!
