I just got this console table 2 weeks ago, and I’m thrilled. The table matches the rest of my furniture as if it’s custom-made for our living room. I set it up in our house’s entryway. It is just far enough from the door so I can still open it the whole way through without hitting the table. At the same time, it’s near to the door so it’s the first thing you’ll see once you get in.
First Look
Assembly took me barely 20 minutes. There were plenty of screws, but that’s not a bad thing at all. The table is sturdy thanks to the screws holding the parts together. It did come with a small Allen wrench, but I used our own ratchet screwdriver instead.
I got this table to serve as an accent table to greet guests as they come in. Our entryway looked empty, so this came as the perfect addition. The open structure of the table gives it a modern and clean silhouette. It’s long, so there is a large usable space. That has given me the flexibility to let my creativity take over. On the surface area, I put decorative accents like candles. I place a few books on the bottom shelf.
Elegant and Durable Console Table
The cherry finish of the table contributes to the table’s classy look. However, I was mainly attracted to the black cross frame. The contrasting mix of wood and metal is impeccable. Whereas the wood adds warmth and depth, the metal gives it a cool and edgy look. It absolutely does not look like it’s worth less than $100.
The metal frame makes it stable. The table won’t tip over unless you attempt to rest an extremely heavy object on it. Don’t try to make it a TV stand. It’s called a console table for a reason.
Whether you set it in your living room or hallway, the table won’t block the walkway. Its slim structure allows that while giving you enough room to set decors and trinkets.
One time, my daughter left a glass of juice on the table. The wood seems to repel liquids, so it didn’t cause any bubbles or damage. The table is easy to clean too. Just wipe it and off you go. I give this plus marks too because the wood doesn’t scratch easily.
If you fancy an inexpensive console table that makes a statement, you should consider getting this. The table can fit in tight spaces, but it’s spacious enough to set a vase and a couple of picture frames on. With its understated elegance and function, this piece is a great buy.
