We looked at many different kinds of adjustable desk before we chose this one. This one from ApexDesk seemed to be the best option in terms of cost and functionality.
The packaging from ApexDesk was excellent. They really put a lot of thought on packaging and protecting their products. We spent more than 15 minutes just getting rid of all the packaging material alone.
Assembly was easy and simple. The instructions provided were very clear and straight forward. The entire thing took my husband and I around half an hour to put together. Some of the major parts were quite heavy. Having a helper would save you a lot of time and effort.
The design of the desk is very thoughtful. All the components seem to be very good quality. We generally much prefer friction mechanisms, but these motors seem to work really well. Their up and down operations are always quiet and steady.
The build quality of this adjustable desk is rock solid, especially the legs. We did notice some minor wobble at standing height, but it’s nearly unnoticeable.
The adjustable desk is attractive and it provides plenty of room on the surface. You can easily put on a laptop, a scanner, a table lamp, and a few stacks of papers very nicely without feeling too crowned at all.
In addition, something people need to know before purchasing is that the desk itself does not provide any cord control channels. However, there are tons of inexpensive solutions out there for this. I think It wouldn’t be too big of a deal.
Overall, great price for the value and design for an adjustable desk.
