First Impression
This Niangua Furniture coffee table came in a flat box. I didn’t have any trouble getting it in the house. As expected, the box weighs a lot. It is, after all, a table made of real wood.
The assembly is much simpler than I anticipated. The copper legs went together with the tabletop with ease. Everything aligned perfectly. It didn’t take long to put the coffee table together. Once completed, it looks amazing. It even looks way more beautiful than it did online. The dimensions are great too. It fits beautifully in my living room. It is as wide as I needed it to be. I often have guests at home, so a spacious and attractive table is an absolute must.
I especially like the fact thst table has 2 tiers. The bottom tier may be used to hold newspaper, magazines, or books. You can also fit baskets to better organize your things.
Style
The wood creates a rustic look while the copper legs gives an industrial vibe. It is a beautiful combination of 2 styles, and I couldn’t be happier. The wood coffee table matches our furniture. I love how all the natural characteristics of wood were kept intact. As strange as it may sound, the wood’s imperfections contribute to the table’s beauty. The surface is finished beautifully too. The level of craftsmanship that went into making this is comparable to much more expensive tables sold in stores. It’s simply put a work of art. I’m happy I made the right choice to stick with this. I can’t help but think that this is by far the best furniture I’ve purchased from Amazon.
The table has a smooth finish but the live edge and knots add character to it. The grain with the different shades of brown look very interesting. It is unstained wood so the wood’s natural beauty stands out. The use of copper legs instead of regular steel legs make this a statement piece. It adds an unusual flair to the entire table.
If you want a unique piece of furniture, this is the perfect coffee table for you. No two tables are exactly the same.
The bottom tier has the edge sanded down. I still think it’s beautiful, though.
Quality
The top is a thick piece of wood. It’s not like most table with particleboard with veneer. The top is solid wood, no doubt about it. You get what you pay for and it won’t disappoint. It is made to last.
The legs support the top well. The table doesn’t creak or wobble. Spills are not a problem at all. The wood has a protective layer of coating which keeps liquids from seeping into the wood. Water damage is something you won’t want to see in wood. Thanks to the glossy finish of the surface, it is a breeze to keep clean. It doesn’t easily scratch but mine has a few already. You can’t help it if you have kids around!
