First Things First
The setup could have been a lot better if the directions were written well. Some of the instructions were hard to understand. I had to do a lot of guessing and figuring out, but I managed in the end. It took me quite a long time. After seeing the end product, though, I thought it was worth all the time and effort.
What made me choose this shelf is the fact that it has both open and enclosed storage. I knew it would have room for a variety of items. Only a few shelves I came across feature an open design with cabinets. That made this bookshelf among my top choices. The deciding factor, however, was the price. It is inexpensive but definitely not the cheapest I’ve found. However, with a shelf this size, I expected to spend more. Surely a storage shelf with cabinets is more expensive than a regular one, but that wasn’t the case with this Tribesigns shelf.
Versatile Bookshelf
The combination of open and enclosed storage makes this bookcase versatile and functional. This shelf has helped me keep my living room organized. Having 3 kids makes it challenging to keep my home clean. Getting this shelf has made it easier. There are times when I’m too lazy to fix our stuff so I just shove them into the cabinets. The 4 cabinets can surprisingly hold a lot of things.
The mix of open shelves and cabinets also creates an eye-catching look. It is not your ordinary shelf. It has a moden twist to it. The open space is best for decorative pieces or items you want to be easily accessible. I have the books I’m currently reading on the open shelves. They have an open back, so I suggest having the bookcase against the wall. This way, you don’t risk having your stuff fall off to the back.
Durable Furniture
For sure, durability is a major consideration when choosing a furniture for your home. It was such a huge relief for me that this storage shelf turned out to be very sturdy. The metal frame keeps it stable. It doesn’t wobble at all. The bookshelf has a nice weight to it so a kid won’t be able to pull it forward.
Each shelf is durable enough to support a lot of weight. The description says it can hold up to 85 lbs. I haven’t put on that much weight but by the looks of it, it is sturdy enough.
I’ve had no problem keeping this storage shelf clean. The shelves are easy to wipe clean with a damp cloth. They don’t collect dust as much as I expected, which is great.
In My Opinion
I’ve had this for 3 months and I couldn’t be any happier. I wouldn’t switch this up with any other shelf.
If you’re looking for a storage solution for your home, this is a wonderful choice. Have it where you need storage the most and somewhere people can see. A shelf this beautiful deserves to be seen.
