The assembly guide is concise yet detailed. It comes with the tools that you need, which are a screwdriver and an allen wrench. There are quite a number of parts and screws. Don’t get intimidated. As long as you follow the instructions, you shouldn’t get into any trouble. Take your time. It will take you longer to finish if you have to take the table apart and redo the steps. Also, don’t overtighten the screws.
Features
I got this table mainly because of its L shape. I wanted a computer table that would fit in a far corner of my office. I don’t like hutches since they look like they belong to my grandparents’ house. They also take up a lot of room but offer less desktop space. A corner desk, on the other hand, offers more freedom in terms of working. It allows you to move freely from one side of the table to another. Legroom is not as issue too. The open bottom allows me to stretch out my legs.
This office desk has a spacious desktop. I have space for everything I need for work, and I still have room for writing. I have a 27-inch monitor, keyboard, speakers and writing materials on the table. I’m happy that I also have my printer right beside me. The table has a stand dedicated for my CPU. A lot of the corner workstations I’ve checked out didn’t have a tower stand, so this one stood out. The stand keeps the CPU off the floor.
The only thing I wish this table had is a cable management system. It is up to you to improvise to keep your cords organized. I use cable ties to keep the wires from looking messy. If your table is in a corner as it should be, the wires won’t be that visible anyway.
Durability
If assembled properly, this L-shaped desk is very solid. It has adjustable legs that help keep the table stable. Uneven flooring should not be a problem.
I like that it has a metal frame. That makes it sturdy and provides support to the entire table.
Another thing that led me to buy this is the wood top. I didn’t want a glass top because I was worried it would break in the long run. I’m afraid the weight of my computer would cause it to shatter into pieces. With a wood top, the worst that could happen is for the surface to sag. So far, I don’t see any sagging and I’m very pleased.
In My Opinion
This corner computer desk is great for both office and home use. Whether you are working from home or in an office setting, this table would make a fantastic choice. It offers a wide desktop space that promotes productivity. The computer table also has a sleek and professional-looking design. I prefer a minimalistic look, so it was only natural for me to fall in love with this table. I would highly recommend this. The price won’t hurt the wallet too. I don’t think I could have found a better work desk than this.
