Assembly
Setting this up was a breeze. The parts came with labels, and the instructions are easy to understand. As long as you read the directions, it is not hard to figure out which piece goes where. Everything came in perfect conditon. There were no dings or scratches. There were a few extra hardware, which is a bonus.
Storage
The WE Furniture hall tree has a total of 7 hooks. I love that there are plenty of them. They are handy for hanging coats, jackets, and bags. Most of the time, we’re too lazy to keep our coats in our room so we just leave them hanging. You will also find the hooks useful if you have guests around.
I love the open bottom. It gives so much room for storage. It’s perfect for our shoes as well as our guests’ when we’re entertaining. It keeps the clutter to a mininum in our entryway. Before getting this, we just leave our shoes on the floor near the entryway. As you can imagine, that leaves a big mess. Here’s a tip for buyers. Get cloth baskets to better organize your shoes. You can better maximize the storage space underneath.
The hall tree also has a small bench. It’s a great place to sit while putting your shoes on. Overall, the hall tree helps us keep our entryway neat and organized. I’m very pleased.
Durability
I had second thoughts about the stability of the hall tree when I first got it. However, after putting this together, I saw just how solid it is. You don’t even have to anchor it to the wall. Well, I did use the pieces it came with to bolt it to the wall. The pieces are already supplied anyway.
The hall tree can hold a lot of weight. You can hang a heavy backpack and not worry about it tipping forward. A child would find it difficult to pull it towards him. For your peace of mind, though, you may want to anchor it to the wall.
Design
The colors are accurately depicted in the pictures. I got the one in Driftwood. I’m glad I chose that because the light brown color goes well with our white wall. So far, I haven’t seen rust on the frame and hooks. It is the first thing that our guests see when they come into the house, and I keep on getting compliments for it.
The hall tree, with its simple lines, looks sleek. It has a modern look to it. At the same time, it’s a bit rustic. It is just the right size. It can hold a lot of stuff, but it won’t block your entryway. Just to be on the safe side, though, it is highly advisable that you consider the dimensions first before you order it.
Final Thoughts
The price isn’t all that bad too. For its durability and the storage it provides, this hall tree is worth every penny. It does everything it’s supposed to. I couldn’t be happier. We’ve had this for 9 months now, and it’s holding up really well.
