This hanging patio chair is everyone’s favorite spot in the house. We would even race to be the first to sit on it. I’ll explain why in my review.
Comfortable
My family of 4 loves to spend the evening in our garden. We got this hanging chair as an extension of our garden table and chair set.
The cushion is extremely soft. The tufted details take the comfort to the next level. You won’t feel the resin wicker against your back. The resin is weaved to perfection, so you won’t see stray strands or feel bits of resin poking your arms or legs.
What’s great is that we can swing back and forth with the chair. Of course, we can’t swing that far or else the chair would hit the stand.
The chair is hanged at a height where our feet don’t touch the ground. The heaviest in the house, my husband who weighs 190lbs, can also sit comfortably. The stand provides a stable support, so it won’t tip over to our weight. Do take note that the chair is made to seat one person at a time.
Stylish
Anyone who knows me would know that I like to keep our garden attractive. I want it to have a tranquil effect on everyone especially after a tiring day at work and school. That’s why we have our garden regularly serviced by a landscaper. This hanging chair makes a fantastic addition to our well-maintained garden. The espresso color of the resin wicker blends well with the greens. It is also a showstopper in our garden. Our guests would always compliment it when they see it.
Durable
The chair’s stand is made of tough steel. In addition, resin wicker is a material known to repel moisture and hold its shape well. That’s why I just keep the chair in the garden under the sun and rain. It’s convenient not having to constantly drag the chair inside.
I just make it a point to keep the cushion indoors when it’s raining to keep it dry. So far, I haven’t seen any sign of rusting or breaking down from the extremes of weather. I have also just ordered a waterproof cover to protect the chair and make it last longer.
Easy to Clean
I simply wash the resin wicker with a hose. Scrubbing is much ideal if there are dirt or mud you can’t get rid of. The cushion has a zippered cover, so it’s removable. I toss the cover to the washing machine at least once a month.
Overall, this hanging chair is a sturdy and beautiful piece fit for any garden or patio. It has made my whole family look forward to our nightly stay in the garden. The chair is definitely a smart buy on my part.
